“I've never worked anywhere with such a range of opportunities to expand your skills. We get to work with a multitude of brands, and an outstanding team. Redbrick is a place where you always feel supported to do your best work.”

—Mike, Redbrick

We think of the office like a second home and believe you should enjoy your work and the people you work with. We cheerlead your goals and accomplishments like a second family and feel invested in your future. Flexible work hours and health and wellness funding (so you can get your gym membership or race registration paid for, no excuses) are a few of the perks of working at Redbrick. Plus, with regular team events, from ping-pong tournaments to Beer Fridays, work feels a little more like family.

We are looking for an energetic Office Manager to hold a fundamental position on our team. Reporting to the VP of People and Operations and being part of the tight-knit People Ops team, the right fit is an individual who is confident, proactive, professional, detail-oriented, and people-focused. Being highly organized is key, as is the ability to execute and manage multiple tasks from start to completion. This is a generalist role that requires a high degree of flexibility as the duties can fluctuate greatly day-to-day and are vital to the overall success of every member of our team. If you are a positive person who loves people, planning events, managing facilities AND you have the passion and determination to contribute to the success of the organization then please apply today!

What does a day look like in my role?

We get it: You need to know what you’re signing up for before you sign up, right? This is what you need to know. As Office Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Manning our reception desk, you're the friendly face that greets our team members and visitors.
  • Planning, coordinating, and arranging all social and team-building events throughout the year such as monthly Beer Fridays, quarterly off-site events, community events, monthly potlucks, lunch and learns and our Christmas party.
  • Ordering office supplies, equipment, weekly fruit, and snacks.
  • Opening and distributing all incoming mail and posting outgoing mail.
  • Managing the smooth running of the entire facility and maintenance.
  • Overseeing calendars and scheduling meetings and reminders.
  • General administrative duties and other duties as assigned.
  • Assisting the VP of People and Operations with daily admin tasks.
  • Coordination of sponsorship and donation opportunities within the community.
  • Assisting with employee onboarding tasks and other HR-related tasks as needed.

What we would like to see in you.

Every Redbricker has 3 things in common: We’re curious, hungry and good-humoured. We try our best to balance hard work with good, old-fashioned fun. As the Office Manager, there are extra superpowers we’re on the lookout for:

  • You have access to a vehicle.
  • Are proactive. You can take a project and can run with it with little guidance.
  • Work well on your own.
  • Don’t mind being the last person to leave an event.
  • Have super high standards when it comes to coordinating and managing facilities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and time management skills.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude combined with discretion and diplomacy when working with confidential information.
  • Have a keen focus on attention to the details.
  • Have worked in the hospitality or tech sector previously.
  • Value kindness and seek to work in an inclusive and supportive environment.

If you’re picking up what we’re putting down, applying is easy as 1, 2, 3.
